My name is {{childName}}, and this is my story about brushing my teeth. I brush my teeth twice a day — once in the morning and once before bed. Brushing keeps my teeth clean, strong, and healthy. Lots of people brush their teeth every day, just like me.

First, I get my toothbrush. I put a small blob of toothpaste on it, about the size of a pea. A small blob is all my teeth need. Then I am ready to brush.

I brush my top teeth and my bottom teeth, at the front and at the back, with gentle little circles. I try to brush for about two minutes. The buzzing or scratchy feeling in my mouth is okay — it usually means my teeth are getting clean.

When I have brushed every tooth, I spit the toothpaste into the sink and rinse my mouth with water. Now my teeth feel smooth and fresh. Looking after my teeth makes a grown-up proud of me. I am learning to keep my smile healthy!
