My name is {{childName}}, and this is a story about a time I kept trying. I was working on something tricky. It did not work the first time. That happens to many people. I took a breath, and I tried again.
Trying again and again is called persistence. Each try taught me a little more about the tricky thing. Try by try, it got easier. That is how tricky things become easy things.
Even the tries that did not work were useful — they showed me what to do differently. Nobody gets everything right the first time. People who are great at things usually tried many, many times. I am one of those people now.
I kept trying, and that is something to celebrate. Persistence is one of my strengths. The next tricky thing I meet should watch out — because I do not give up easily. Well done, me!
