My name is {{childName}}, and this is my story about saying thank you. Sometimes people do kind things for me, or say something nice to me. Saying 'thank you' is a friendly way to show that I noticed.

I can say thank you when someone gives me something, helps me, shares with me, or says something kind. There are many chances to say thank you every day.

To say thank you, I can look toward the person, use a friendly voice, and say 'thank you.' I can add what they did, like 'thank you for helping me.' A small smile makes it even nicer.

When I say thank you, the other person feels good, and so do I. Saying thank you helps people feel appreciated. I am learning to notice kind things and say thank you.
